Managing stress

STRESS is a natural part of life, but the problem is these days we never switch off. Finding some life balance is important but often hard to do, especially if you struggling with work, money, family or health issues.

Simple things that can help are asking family or friends for help, address any issues as soon as they arise and make a list by prioritising things that are not high on your to do list.  Good rules are; learn to Breath, learn to say NO (most of us over commit) and don't take on more than you can handle.

The impact of long-term stress on our Adrenal Health can lead to a condition called "Adrenal Fatigue" which is a common condition I am seeing in clients.  Symptoms include AM fatigue that improves in the evenings (these people do their best work at night), poor sleep patterns, brain fog, cravings for salt and sugar and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels).

Personal Development This is a big one and will be different for everyone. I like to live by the rule that we only have one life and we have the right to be happy, loved and respected.  I encourage everyone not to get to comfortable and complacent with life and to take on new challenges especially as they age. You never know who you will meet or what you will discover about yourself when taking on new adventures.
